Freshmen Fridays 6/18/21

This clinic is designed for rising Freshmen who are interested in preparing for high school volleyball tryouts.  Clinics are customized to the participants needs.  We cover individual skills of serving, passing, setting, and hitting with an emphasis on game play. 

We will also discuss mental aspects of tryout preparation including:

• What to expect at tryouts
• Things to do to get noticed
• How to prepare physically and mentally
• What coaches look for
• How to be confident in the skills you have
• How to handle the skills you need improvement on
• Fundamental individual skill work – serving, passing, setting, hitting (minimum requirements)
• Team skills – Serve receive, Offense, Defense, Transition (these will make you a star!)
• You’ve made the team!  Now what?
